Canadian born, Shauna Baker was raised by her Dené Grandmother on a reservation in northern Canada. Shauna was extensively involved in business before her entertainment career began.

Despite her success in the corporate world, she instinctively knew she was not following her dreams. Shauna started modeling, then moved to hosting and then fell in love with the dramatic arts. Shauna Baker is an actress, tv host, motivational speaker, gamer, blogger, fitness model and social content creator. She is a bonafide social media maven with over 1.5 million followers on her combined social media platforms @ShaunaBaker. Her acting credits include one of the leads in an executive produced Robert Redford’s feature film selected in Sundance called ‘Drunktown’s Finest’, lead in ‘Festival de Cannes’ film called ‘Finding Neptune’ and guest-starring roles ‘Blue Mountain State’, ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’ and most recently starred in tv pilot ‘Hey Cuzzin’ and a tv host on PBS/FNX tv series Future Proof.

I remember being a little kid and not seeing...where you are looking at these old films and there are non-Natives playing us, you know there are tanned white girls playing in these old westerns and I would just like to see more Native people playing actual Native roles and also, more roles where they just happen to be Native.
